The directly pluggable train control relay expands the control module Art. 5224 and 5229 for automatic train control, but can also be used separately. This allows the control modules to stop the trains automatically. This can be done either by switching off the traction current (separately for track and catenary) or in digital operation, even more prototypically, by switching to the braking module Art. 5232 (for Märklin-Motorola) or a brake generator (for NMRA-DCC). For this purpose, the bistable train control relay has a two-pole changeover switch, so the switching position is retained even when there is no current. The relays must be switched to minus.
